Waxing is the best hair removal method…
Waxing is known to be one of the best methods to get rid of excess and unwanted hair on the body. It could be slightly uncomfortable and even seem to be a little tedious, but believe me that waxing results are all worth the time, effort, and discomfort put together. It is a semi-permanent technique of hair removal that would remove the hair from the root and remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. You would notice the new hair growth on the previously waxed area within two to four weeks.
BENEFITS OF WAXING:
You will have less regrowth in between appointments
Your hair will grow back progressively finer and sparser
Your skin will get gentle exfoliation
Your skin will be less prone to inflammation
You will have less annoying itching and prickliness
You will avoid the risk of nicks and cuts
You will have less chance of ingrown hairs

BEFORE WAXING
CHECK YOURSELF: No matter where you're waxing, check the skin before you go in for your appointment. Broken skin or inflammation needs to heal before you're ready to wax. If you have moles or beauty marks, point them out to the esthetician so they can be protected during the waxing process.
LET IT GROW...BUT NOT TOO LONG: Keep hair long enough for the wax to grip it. When the hair is too short, the wax can't pick it up well enough to remove it; when it's too long, it prevents wax from adhering and causes more pain. Two to three weeks of growth, or about an eighth to a quarter of an inch, is ideal for leg, underarm and bikini hair.
LIGHT EXFOLIATION: Gently exfoliate your skin a day or two before waxing, but skip harsh scrubs the day of your waxing appointment. Exfoliation helps wax grab hair and not skin, but it can also leave skin more sensitive to pain, so lighter is better. A rough washcloth is perfect for gentle exfoliation, but don't scrub too hard.
MOISTURISE UNTIL THE DAY OF: Moisturise well on the days leading up to your appointment. Healthy, well-moisturized skin allows the wax to release more easily. Too much moisturiser could coat the hair and interfere with the wax's grip, so avoid moisturizing on the day of your waxing session.
THE BIKINI AREA: Keep skin in the bikini area scrupulously clean. Waxing can leave skin vulnerable to infection, and areas of the body that are normally warm and damp are more prone to bacterial growth.
TAKE A RETIN-A BREAK: Certain medications can sensitise skin to waxing. Retin-A creams do amazing things for fine lines, acne and uneven pigmentation, but they also leave skin susceptible to injury during waxing. Discontinue retinol-based products for two weeks before waxing. Accutane users should stop taking their medication for a month before waxing. Before making any changes to your prescription medications, talk to your dermatologist.
AFTERCARE
Avoid any heat treatments or UV exposure for 24 hours. No sauna, steam room, sun-beds.
Exfoliate the area after one week of waxing to prevent ingrown hairs.
Wear loose clothing after treatment .
Avoid perfumed products, lotions, and creams, which can irritate sensitized skin.
You can moisturise using gentle oil-based products, such as baby oil, can help to remove any wax residue while keeping the skin supple.
Finally, as you continue waxing regularly, you’ll notice your hair regrowth coming in finer, softer, weaker, less pigmented, slower, allowing you to stay smoother, longer. If you maintain a regular wax routine and get everything growing in the same cycle, then you are golden. You’ll be able to push future wax appointments out further and further.
